Alaa Aboraia

Alaa Aboraia is currently working as the Accounting Section Head at PAN MARINE GROUP since November 2022. Prior to this, Alaa worked as a Senior Accountant at Sigma Petroleum Services from March 2020 to October 2022. From November 2016 to February 2020, Alaa served as a Senior Banking Accountant at AWA Group. Before that, Alaa worked as a Treasury Accountant at EGYCOT FOR INTERNATIONAL TRADING (S.A.E) from September 2015 to October 2016. Alaa's earlier experience includes working as an Accountant at MHB Egypt Shipping Agency Co. from March 2013 to August 2015, and as an Accountant at Misr gulf shipping and offshore from January 2011 to February 2013.

Alaa Aboraia obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and Finance from Alexandria University between 2006 and 2010. In addition to their degree, they have also obtained additional certifications. Alaa completed Accounting Fundamentals and Fundamentals of Credit courses at the Corporate Finance Institute® (CFI) in June 2020. Furthermore, they obtained Accounting 1 and Accounting 2 certifications from the Arab Academy for Science, Technology, and Maritime Transport in May and July 2011, respectively.
