Balram Kakkar

Balram Kakkar has over 20 years of work experience. Balram started their career as a Partner at Kakkar & Associates in 1994. In 2000, they founded and became the CEO of Pan Am Mortgage, where they have originated and closed over one billion dollars in residential and commercial loans. Since 2015, they have been working as the Director of Finance at Atlas Hotels LLC.

Balram Kakkar obtained a Bachelor's degree in Economics & Political Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from 1983 to 1987. After that, they pursued a Doctor of Law (JD) degree in Banking, Corporate, Finance, and Securities Law from the University of Virginia School of Law from 1988 to 1991. Balram Kakkar also holds additional certifications as a member of the Bars of the States of NY, CT, and the District of Columbia and is admitted to the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York.
