Mitja Kus

Mitja Kus currently serves as the Plant General Manager of Operations at Panasonic Energy of North America, focusing on electric vehicle battery manufacturing since October 2023. Prior to this role, Mitja held significant positions at Samsung Electronics America as the Head of Plant Operations & Maintenance for the MIP Group and at Panasonic Energy of North America as a Senior Manager in Plant Operations. Experience also includes a tenure as the Senior Assembly Manager at Mercedes-Benz Vans, where responsibilities encompassed interior trim and chassis production, as well as managerial roles at Aptiv, BorgWarner Inc., and Toyota Boshoku America. Mitja's career is supported by a Bachelor's degree in Economics with a focus on Project Management from CDI University in Ljubljana, Slovenia.
