Hajime Tamaoki

Hajime Tamaoki is the current Chief Information Officer at Panasonic. Hajime has held this position since April 2021.

Prior to their current role, Tamaoki was the Chief Solutions Officer, AXA Life Insurance Japan from December 2016 to April 2021. Hajime was also the Group Senior Vice President & CIO at Fast Retailing from April 2014 to November 2016.

Tamaoki began their career at Procter & Gamble in April 1993 as the Director of IT Delivery. Hajime held this position for 21 years before moving on to their role at Fast Retailing.

Hajime Tamaoki is an ethologist who holds a master's degree from Osaka University's Graduate School of Human Sciences. Hajime also has a bachelor's degree in ethology from Osaka University's School of Human Sciences. In addition to their academic credentials, Tamaoki has also completed several professional development courses on leadership and diversity.

They are on a team with Daizo Ito - Regional Head for India, South Asia, Middle East and Africa, Shigeo Usui - Director, Design Division, and Shinji Sakamoto - CEO, Industrial Solutions Company. Hajime Tamaoki reports to Yuki Kusumi, Chief Executive Officer.
