Bernard Vanderfin, CPA, CGMA, MBA has a strong background in finance and accounting, with over 40 years of experience. Bernard started their career as an Auditor at Peat, Marwick Mitchell & Co (now known as KPMG) in 1976. From there, they held various finance and administration roles at RCA/Columbia Pictures Home Video, MGM/UA Telecommunications, and Universal Pictures. At Universal Pictures, they served as the EVP/Divisional CFO for MCA/Universal Merchandising Inc. Most recently, they were the VP/Senior Global Controller at Panavision, where they oversaw all accounting operations and financial reporting for the company. Throughout their career, Bernard has developed strong management and audit skills, and has worked with reputable firms such as Deloitte and Andersen.
Bernard Vanderfin, CPA, CGMA, MBA has a B.A. in Economics from UCLA. Bernard then went on to obtain their EMBA from the UCLA Anderson School of Management. In addition to their degrees, Bernard has obtained certifications as a Chartered Global Management Accountant from the AICPA in July 2012, and as a California CPA from the California State Board of Accountancy in August 2003.
