Denis Theodossiou

Denis Theodossiou has a diverse work experience in the field of Information Technology. Denis started their career in 1993 as a PC Administrator at Computer Technology Institute (CTI), where they administered Novell NetWare networks. In 1998, they joined Societe Generale and held multiple roles, including Deputy Head of Infrastructure and Head of Network and Internet services, where they managed various network infrastructure projects. In 2003, they worked as a Senior Presales Engineer at SPACE HELLAS S.A. Denis then joined Geniki Bank in 2004 as Deputy IT Director and later became Head of Project Management & Business Consulting. At Geniki Bank, they successfully led the migration of the Core Banking System and other critical IT system migration projects. In 2014, they joined HSBC as Head of IT in Greece, where they managed a team and played a crucial role in merging and restructuring departments. Denis also led projects related to regulatory compliance, technology adoption, and cost-saving initiatives. Additionally, they served as the Brexit IT Lead Delivery Program Manager. Most recently, they held the position of Senior Director of Information Technology at Pancreta Bank.

Denis Theodossiou holds a Mastère spécialisé (MS) degree in Networks & Telecommunications from CentraleSupélec, which they obtained from 1997 to 1998. Prior to that, they obtained a Diploma in Engineering in Computer Engineering and Informatics from the University of Patras, where they studied from 1992 to 1997. Additionally, Denis holds various certifications, including CCIE Lifetime Emeritus - Enterprise Infrastructure from Cisco, Digital Transformation Officer 50 Powerlist 2023 from BOUSSIAS, Google Cloud Certified Professional Cloud Architect from Google, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer from PECB, PRINCE2 Foundation and PRINCE2 Practitioner from APMG-International, and ITIL v3 Foundation and CCIE - Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert from Cisco.
