Leia Morrison

Leia Morrison has worked in various roles and companies throughout their career. In 2008, they founded Rocky Mountain Yogini, an LLC that offers yoga teacher trainings, personal training, and online health coaching. Leia also founded The Firekeeper, a social media management business that provides guidance and consultation to small businesses, non-profits, and rural entrepreneurship. From 2012 to 2014, they worked as a Marketing Coordinator for the Gunnison Crested Butte Tourism Association. In 2015, they became an Executive Director for the Gunnison Crested Butte Air Alliance, a position they held until 2017. During that time, they also worked as a City Council Member for Gunnison City Council and served as a Business Consultant for the Colorado Small Business Development Center. In 2021, they worked as a Marketing Manager for Pando Telecom, and earlier in the year, they served as a Special Projects Manager Assistant to the Executive Director at Gunnison Valley Rural Transportation Authority.

Leia Morrison received their Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature/Letters from Western Colorado University from 1996-2001. Before that, they attended Northside Christian Highschool in St. Petersburg, FL from 1990-1994. Leia also obtained several certifications including Certified Personal Trainer from ISSA in 2018, Implications Wheel Facilitator from Strategic Exploration Certification Program in 2018, Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provider (YACEP) in 2016, RYT-300 from Yoga Alliance in 2016, 200 E-RYT from Yoga Alliance & the Samudra Teacher Training Program in 2012, and E-RYT from Yoga Alliance in 2011.
