Steven Shumaker

Steven Shumaker has held various GIS-related roles since 1998. Steven began as a GIS Analyst at Lockheed Martin in 1998, followed by a GIS Analyst role at the City of West Linn in 2000. In the same year, they also held a GIS Analyst role at Otak and a GIS Manager role at Pangaea Information Technologies, Ltd., where they were promoted to Vice President. Prior to this, Steven worked at Indiana University between 1996 and 1998, where they held roles as a SPEA GIS Laboratory Lab and Field Technician, a Center for International Population and Environmental Change Field Ecologist, and an Aquatic Habitat Analysis Associate Instructor.

Steven Shumaker's education history includes a BS in Public Affairs with a focus in Environmental Science and Management from Indiana University Bloomington, obtained between 1992 and 1996. Steven then continued their studies at Indiana University Bloomington and obtained an MS in Environmental Science with a focus in Applied Ecology between 1996 and 1998. Prior to that, they attended Sylvania Northview High School between 1988 and 1992. Additionally, Steven Shumaker holds a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute.
