Boris Temkin

Boris Temkin has worked for nine companies since 1999. Boris began their career at AllCharge as a Software Engineer, then moved to Vimatix as a Software Developer in 2002. In 2003, they joined HyperRoll, Inc. as a Software Engineer, before moving to AeroScout in 2004 as an Algorithm Developer and Software Engineer. In 2010, they became a Software Engineer Technical Lead at Pulsar Investments Ltd. Boris then moved to Katros LTD in 2013, where they held the same role. In 2017, they co-founded and became the General Manager of SciFeat, a garage startup specialized in AI and ML based solutions. In 2018, they joined Ubimo as a Data Science Team Lead, and in 2021 they started at Placer.ai as a Data Scientist. Currently, they are the Director of Software Engineering at Pangea Biomed.

Boris Temkin received their B.Sc. in Math & CS from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev between 1995 and 1998. Boris then went on to earn an M. Sc. in Applied Mathematics (Computer Vision & Machine Learning) from Weizmann Institute of Science between 2011 and 2013. Most recently, they have been working towards their Master of Business Administration - MBA from Tel Aviv University - Coller School of Management, which they are expected to complete in 2021.
