Adrian Broadnax

Adrian Broadnax has extensive experience in the field of cybersecurity and information technology. Adrian served as the Chief Information Security Officer at PANGIAM, where they built a comprehensive cybersecurity program, managed a budget, and developed policies for safeguarding company assets. Prior to that, they worked as a Security Engineer at IOMAXIS, where they ensured compliance with patches and prepared compliance reports. Adrian also held the position of Cybersecurity Engineer at Entwined Technologies, Inc, where they provided support for network security engineering and monitored network performance. Additionally, Adrian has experience in network administration and maintenance from their roles in the U.S. Navy onboard USS ESSEX and USS THUNDERBOLT. Adrian has proven expertise in troubleshooting, maintenance, and training in various network systems. Adrian also worked at the Office of Naval Intelligence, where they managed wide area networks and provided troubleshooting for various network infrastructure components. Earlier in their career, they led personnel in restoring workstations and implementing network infrastructure upgrades at various U.S. Navy commands.

Adrian Broadnax holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Networks and Cybersecurity from the University of Maryland Global Campus, which they obtained between the years 2015 and 2020. Adrian also earned an Associate of Arts degree in General Studies from Central Texas College from 2011 to 2014. Adrian has pursued additional certifications including Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) and Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) from EC-Council and ISC2 respectively. Adrian also obtained the CompTIA Security+ certification from CompTIA in January 2022. Adrian is currently pursuing their studies in Information Technology at the UVA McIntire School of Commerce, with an expected completion in 2024.
