Jay Agarwal MD, MBA has a diverse work experience spanning several prestigious organizations. Jay is currently serving as the Vice President of Value Based Care at Panoramic Health since July 2023. Previously, from July 2021 to July 2023, they held the position of Chief Medical Officer for Value Based Care and Population Health at Satellite Healthcare/WellBound.

Before their current role, Jay Agarwal worked at UnitedHealth Group as a Regional Medical Director from June 2019 to July 2021. From 2005 to 2019, they served as the Chief Executive Officer and Physician Partner at Nephrology Associates Medical Group. During their tenure, they led the operations of the organization, managing over 100 employees in 14 offices. Under their leadership, the practice grew from 13 to 31 practitioners through organic growth and strategic acquisitions. Jay also implemented electronic medical records and a mobile charge capture system to optimize billing efficiency.

Additionally, in 2014, Jay Agarwal served as a Clinical Associate Professor at the University of California, Riverside. Jay also held positions at Dignity Health as the Medical Director for Acute Dialysis Services at Community Hospital of San Bernardino from 2015 to 2019, and at DaVita Kidney Care as a Dialysis Joint Venture Board Member and later as a Medical Director from 2009 to 2019. At DaVita, they analyzed performance and developed strategic growth plans for dialysis centers, ensured superior outcomes in dialysis units, and collaborated with DaVita to develop a pilot program for Medicare patients on dialysis.

Jay Agarwal began their medical career as a Nephrology Fellow at Kaiser Permanente from 2003 to 2005, following their residency in Internal Medicine at Cedars-Sinai from 2000 to 2003.

Jay Agarwal completed their Bachelor's degree in Animal Physiology at UC San Diego from 1992 to 1995. Jay then pursued their medical education and earned a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA between 1996 and 2000. In 2014, Jay Agarwal enrolled at the University of Michigan - Stephen M. Ross School of Business and obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in 2016. Regarding certifications, they have obtained leadership and business management certifications from the Fuqua School of Business in 2007. Additionally, Jay Agarwal is certified in Internal Medicine and Nephrology by the American Board of Internal Medicine. Jay also holds a Physician and Surgeon License from the Medical Board of California.
