Ashmitha Umaharan

Ashmitha Umaharan is currently serving as the Community Engagement Coordinator at Western University, where responsibilities include planning and executing the Orientation Serves Program and launching the Western Serves Network. Ashmitha also holds a position on the Board of Directors for Epilepsy Southwestern Ontario and has previously been President of ConsciouSociety and Event Coordinator for Learning it Together. Additional experience includes working as a Research Assistant at St. Joseph's Health Care London and a Research/Outreach Assistant in the Department of Languages and Cultures at Western University. Ashmitha is pursuing a Bachelor of Medical Sciences at Western University, expected to graduate in April 2024, having previously earned a High School Diploma with a Specialist High Skills Major from Father Michael McGivney Catholic Academy.
