About the role: 

We are seeking a high-impact sales leader to join our team as Vice President of Enterprise Sales. This player-coach role will see you driving significant revenue growth by leading and mentoring a team of top-performing new business team Directors and assisting in the sourcing of new deals. Your focus will be on enterprise sales within Medicare Advantage health plans and adjacent markets. 

What you’ll be doing:

  • Leadership & Team Management: Lead a high-performing team of Directors, fostering a culture of collaboration and development.
  • Strategic Planning & Execution: Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with company goals.
  • Business Development & High-Impact Sales: Source and secure new logos through a hunter mentality, building strong relationships with key decision-makers at leading Medicare Advantage plans and similar market. You will be heavily involved in spearheading high-value deals, leveraging your deep industry expertise and proven track record of success.
  • Solution Selling & Market Expertise: Demonstrate a deep understanding of Papa's solutions, effectively communicating the value proposition and solving complex client challenges. Stay on top of industry trends, competitive offerings, and regulations, providing valuable insights to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Build strong relationships and collaborate effectively with Client Success, Marketing, Sales Ops, and other teams to ensure all efforts are aligned and focused on client satisfaction.

Your skills and experience: 

  • Proven track record of success in a senior sales leadership role within the healthcare or health tech industries, specifically with experience selling into health plans and ideally selling into Medicare Advantage. 
  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in sales, with a demonstrably successful record of exceeding ambitious revenue targets.
  • Deep understanding of the healthcare and Medicare Advantage, with a proven ability to navigate the complex landscape.
  • Exceptional leadership and coaching skills, with the ability to motivate, inspire, and develop a high-performing team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, adept at building trust and rapport with clients at all levels within health plans.
  • Ability to create and deliver presentations independently, effectively communicating Papa's value proposition to a health plan audience.
  • Strategic thinking and analytical capabilities, with a data-driven approach to sales planning and execution.
  • A hunter mentality, with the ability to identify and close high-value deals with health plans independently.
