Nivi Ramesh Brett

Nivi Ramesh Brett has a diverse work experience in product design and consulting. Nivi is currently the Director of Product Design at Papa, starting in August 2022. Prior to that, they worked as an Independent Consultant from March 2019. From April 2020 to July 2022, they served as a Product Design Manager at the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative. Nivi also worked at the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative as a Product Design Lead from July 2017 to February 2019, where they led the product design for the Summit Learning Platform. Before that, they were a Staff Product Designer at Facebook from October 2016 to July 2017. Nivi gained valuable experience at IDEO, working as a Principal Interaction Designer from October 2014 to September 2016, and as a Senior Interaction Designer from October 2012 to October 2014. Nivi also worked as a Design Fellow at IDEO.org from November 2015 to May 2016, where they improved access to digital financial services in East Africa through research and design methodologies. Nivi has experience as an Interaction Designer at Artefact from July 2011 to October 2012, and at Hornall Anderson from May 2009 to June 2011. Nivi began their career as a Designer at Studio 216 from May 2008 to December 2008.

Nivi Ramesh Brett completed their Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Washington between 2004 and 2008. Concurrently, they also pursued a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Design and Visual Communications, General from the same university during the same time period.
