Volkan Nazmi Metin

Volkan Nazmi Metin has a strong work experience in the technology industry. Volkan Nazmi started their career at OEA International,Inc. in 2004 as a Senior Software Developer, where they worked until 2009. Volkan Nazmi then joined Nevotek as a Senior Software Developer from December 2009 to April 2010. In 2010, they joined Azerion Turkey, where they held various roles, including Technical Lead/Team Manager and Software Development Lead/Manager of Operations, working on large-scale projects and utilizing technologies such as Microsoft Azure, AWS Cloud Services, NodeJS, and MongoDB. In 2019, Volkan joined Papara as the VP of Software Engineering and later became the Chief Technology Officer, responsible for building and protecting company culture, developing technological strategies, and ensuring efficient and secure technology use.

Volkan Nazmi Metin earned a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Engineering from Istanbul Technical University, where they studied from 1998 to 2004. Prior to that, they attended Adana Anatolian High School from 1991 to 1998, focusing on Mathematics and Science. In addition to their formal education, they obtained certification as an AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate from Amazon Web Services in October 2018.
