Marcelo Gilman

Marcelo Gilman is a Software Architect at Papaya Global since December 2022 and has been a Board Member and Co-Founder at SafeMode since October 2018, where responsibilities include technological vision and strategy alignment. Previously, Marcelo served as Software Development Manager and Software Architect at BondIT Ltd., leading the development of a micro-services platform for fixed-income portfolio management. Marcelo's extensive experience includes roles as Backend Team Leader at SolarEdge Technologies, where leadership was provided for a large-scale monitoring system, and Head of Backend Development at CIDESO, overseeing software architecture for training systems for the UN. As Co-Founder and CTO at URBIX, work focused on crowd management technologies. Marcelo's technical expertise spans Python, Java, and machine learning, supported by a BA and MSc in Computer Science with a focus on Artificial Intelligence from the University of Buenos Aires.
