Michelle Nam, Esq. CIPP/E, CIPP/US serves as Legal Counsel for Commercial and Privacy at Papaya Global since January 2022, providing primary legal support for US Sales and Marketing Teams while also acting as the Company’s Data Privacy Subject Matter Expert. Previously, Michelle held the position of In-House Counsel at Done., and served as an Associate Attorney at McAloon & Friedman, PC, focusing on civil defense and healthcare data privacy matters. Additionally, Michelle has significant experience as a Trial Attorney at both New York County Defender Services and The Bronx Defenders, representing clients in felony and misdemeanor cases. Michelle holds a Doctor of Law degree from the University of the Pacific - McGeorge School of Law, and a Bachelor's degree in Global and International Studies and English Literature from UC Santa Barbara, alongside an Education Abroad experience at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid.
