Mureen Valentya Silalahi

Mureen Valentya Silalahi has a wealth of experience in the legal and financial sectors. Starting in 2009, they were a coach to the Journalism/Press Club at SMAN (State High School) 78. In 2011, they began working as a freelance legal translator. From 2015 to 2020, they worked at Otoritas Jasa Keuangan as Staff at Directorate of Regulatory, R&D of Non-Bank Financial Institutions, Tilleke & Gibbins as an intern at the Corporate & Commercial Department, TunaiKita as Legal Counsel and Compliance Specialist, OVO (PT Visionet Internasional) as Compliance Specialist (Non-Payment System), and Allianz Life Indonesia as Legal Manager. Currently, they are employed at Paper.id as Sr. Lead - Legal & Regulator Relations and Tokopedia as Data Protection Lead (Governance & Advisory).

Mureen Valentya Silalahi is currently enrolled in Harvard Business School Online, studying Data Privacy & Technology. Mureen previously obtained a Pendidikan Profesi Konsultan Hukum Pasar Modal (Capital Market Legal Consultant) from Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Hukum Jentera in 2018, and a Pendidikan Auditor Hukum (Legal Auditor) from Jimly School of Law & Government in 2018. In 2015, they obtained an LLM in International Economic and Business Law from University of Groningen. Mureen also obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Business & Industrial Law from Universitas Trisakti in 2012, and completed courses in Legal Translation (Basic, Intermediate, Advanced) and Legal Drafting from Atma Jaya Catholic University of Indonesia between 2010 and 2012. Additionally, Mureen Valentya Silalahi holds an Advocate License (PERADI) from PERADI.
