Kamal Datta

Kamal Datta has extensive work experience in various roles and positions, starting from their early career at Bajaj Auto Ltd as an Engineer, where they worked on SAP MM module implementation and sales/marketing efforts. Kamal then moved on to Patni Computer Systems as a Sr Software Engineer, working on multiple projects for insurance clients in the US.

Later, Kamal joined MetLife as a Software Consultant, leading the delivery of pre-sales SAAS application development projects. Kamal then transitioned to Mass Mutual Financial Group, where they worked as a Systems Consultant, leading solution design and implementation for enterprise pre-sales desktop and SAAS applications.

Continuing their career, Kamal joined G4S Technology SS as a Technical Program Manager, successfully leading cross-functional teams and implementing continuous integration and continuous deployment practices. Kamal also managed programs associated with key clients and focused on customer feedback.

After that, Kamal worked at Altisource Labs as a Senior Technical Program Manager, leading the development of SaaS products and building a scaling PMO team. Kamal implemented high-touch monthly checkpoints with stakeholders to demonstrate progress and secured funding for technology business unit P&L.

Later, Kamal joined UKG (Ultimate Kronos Group) as a Sr Manager/Principal Technical Program Management, overseeing global technical programs and projects. Currently, they are working at Paper as the Director of Product Engineering Operations.

Additionally, Kamal has held roles as an Adjunct Professor at Clark University, Founder at Traxamo, and has been involved in various project management and leadership positions throughout their career.

Kamal Datta completed a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics & Communications Engineering from Malaviya National Institute of Technology Jaipur in the years 1997 to 2001. They have also obtained several additional certifications in areas such as Teaching with Cases from Harvard Business Publishing Education, Business Analytics from The Wharton School, Communicating with Emotional Intelligence from LinkedIn, and Mastering Design Thinking from MIT Sloan School of Management.
