Christopher Wallis has a diverse work experience, starting as a PhD student at the University of Manchester from September 2012 to September 2015. Christopher then worked as a Research Associate at University College London from September 2015 to March 2018, focusing on new statistical techniques including Machine Learning, Bayesian Statistics, and signal processing.
In 2018, Christopher joined Resolver Group as a Data Scientist, contributing their expertise until December 2018. Christopher then joined Kagenova in 2019 and held the positions of Chief Data Scientist from January 2019 to January 2020, where they led a team that built machine learning models for VR applications, and Chief AI Officer from January 2020 to January 2021.
Moving forward, Christopher joined Papercup in 2021 and served as a Machine Learning Engineer from January 2021 to October 2021. Christopher then grew within the company as a Senior Machine Learning Engineer from November 2021 to July 2022. Currently, they hold the role of Applied Research Team Lead at Papercup, starting from July 2022.
Christopher Wallis obtained their Bachelor's degree in Physics from the University of Oxford, where they attended from 2008 to 2012. Christopher then pursued further studies and completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Physics at The University of Manchester from 2012 to 2015.
