Devang S Ram Mohan

Devang S Ram Mohan has worked in the field of Machine Learning since 2014. In that time, they have held a variety of roles in different companies. From 2014 to 2017, they worked at Innovation and Development Lab, Mu Sigma Inc. as an Apprentice Leader and Senior Research Analyst. During their time there, they led a team of 22 in developing multiple high impact, visually stunning prototypes, and a team of 6 in exploring applications of Reinforcement Learning. Devang also developed a Python implementation of a Deep Q-Learning Algorithm for obstacle avoidance on a robotic car. From 2017 to 2019, they worked at FrontdeskAI by Vidurama Inc. as a Machine Learning Engineer, where they developed the overarching framework for the learning mechanism behind the conversational agent. Devang also held a Machine Learning Researcher Intern role at Papercup from 2019 to the present, where they own a key pillar of the research strategy to improve the expressivity of voices in production. Devang has also helped develop the annual and quarterly research goals across the different streams of work.

Devang S Ram Mohan has an education history spanning from 2005 to 2019. Devang attended The Mother's International School from 2005 to 2008, followed by St. Stephen's College, Delhi from 2008 to 2011, where they received a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Mathematics. Devang then attended the Indian Institute of Science from 2011 to 2014, where they received a Master of Science (MS) in Mathematics. In 2018, they attended UCL and obtained a Master's degree in Machine Learning.
