Yega Kumarappan

Yega Kumarappan has a wealth of experience in the technology industry. Yega began their career in 2001 as a Developer for CCC, where they worked on a production and application support project. Yega then moved on to become a Lead Developer for Liberty Mutual Insurance on a VSAM to DB2 conversion project. In 2009, they joined Cognizant as a Test Manager, where they built and managed a team of QA professionals for an enterprise wide integration. Yega then assumed the role of Program Manager, where they stood up the Managed Test Center and managed a cross functional team of 200+ associates. In 2017, Yega co-founded Paperflite, where they are the Product Owner, creating a 'content intelligence' platform for businesses operating on next gen digital channels. Yega also served as the Venture Leader for the "fastest" strategic venture, leading the digitization of traditional services, and as the Head of Technology Prototyping, where they identified ideas and innovations that scale.

Yega Kumarappan has a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Madras, which they obtained between 1997 and 2001. Yega then obtained a Diploma in Operations Research (PGDBOR) from the Indira Gandhi National Open University between 2001 and 2003.
