Annabelle Goldin-Mertdogan

Annabelle Goldin-Mertdogan has worked in the design industry since 2017. Annabelle began their career as a Design Intern at DDB, where they explored cinematography styles for a commercial, blew out execution styles for a rebrand, designed wearables, and created posters for DDB internal events. Her clients included Capital One, Jeep, Lifelock, State Farm, Blue Moon, and Miller Lite.

In 2018, Annabelle began freelancing for Landor, Superfly, and Chicago Independent Radio Project - CHIRP Radio 107.1FM. At Landor, they designed five different pakcepts for a soon-to-be-released Kraft product and designed and helped prepare 49 patterns for a new Huggies’ subbrand. At Superfly, they provided freelance design services. At CHIRP Radio 107.1FM, they provided volunteer design work for their annual Record Fair with over 100 vendors, creating illustrated posters, onsite signage, advertising, and the event guide.

In 2019, Annabelle continued their freelance work for Current Global, Havas, and Superfly. At Current Global, they provided a mix of design, animation, moonshot mockups, and PR media mailers for brands such as Hidden Valley Ranch, Radio Flyer, Kingsford, This Is Living With Cancer (Pfizer), Shamrock Farms, Rockin Protein, FedEx, Applebee's, and the agency itself. At Havas, they helped design assets for social, streaming, print, and customizable assets for an upcoming campaign for the National Association of Realtors and explored the rebranding of a nonprofit under NAR, including logo marks, style guide, website, & brochures. At Superfly, they provided freelance design services.

In 2020, Annabelle continued to work as a Designer for Current Global. Most recently, in 2021, they have been a Designer for both Epic Games and Paperless Post.

Annabelle Goldin-Mertdogan attended Oak Park River Forest High School from 2008 to 2012. Annabelle then went on to the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Psychology and Gender and Women's Studies in 2015. In 2016, they attended the Chicago Portfolio School to study Design.
