Lotta Ahovaara

Lotta Ahovaara has extensive experience in intellectual property law, currently serving as an IP lawyer and European Trademark and Design Attorney at Papula-Nevinpat since January 2021. Previous roles include IP Lawyer at Kolster Oy Ab from December 2011 to June 2019, and Legal Counsel at Sergel from April 2010 to September 2011. Lotta's early career features positions as a Trainee Judge at the District Court of Joensuu and as an Associate Lawyer at Asianajotoimisto Ferenda Oy. Additional trainee experiences were completed at the Market Court and Heinonen & Co, Attorneys-at-Law, Ltd, as well as Hannes Snellman Attorneys at Law Ltd. Lotta holds a Master of Science in IP Law from Hanken School of Economics, a Master of Laws from the University of Lapland, and a Bachelor of Business Administration in International B2B Marketing from Laurea University of Applied Science. Further studies were pursued at Universidad del Salvador and Edinburgh Napier University.
