Lead Mechanical Engineer at Par Pacific Holdings

Christopher Dagel has extensive work experience in mechanical engineering and project management. Christopher started their career in 2005 as a Field Engineer at Schlumberger Technologies, where they gained experience in open hole and cased hole wireline services. Christopher then joined FMC Technologies as a Subsea Engineer III, where they were responsible for sub-sea equipment design and product development. In 2009, they became a Senior Field Engineer at Schlumberger Technologies, working in Venezuela.

From 2010 to 2011, Dagel worked as a Product Engineer at Compañía Tecno Industrial S.A., specializing in supply chain management and product design for semi-automatic washing machines. Christopher then joined CAID S.A. as a Project Engineer, eventually advancing to Branch Manager in 2012. Their responsibilities included operations management, supply chain management, and field supervision of metallic structure erection.

In 2013, Dagel became a Project Manager at ThermaSource, Inc., a drilling company specializing in geothermal assets. Christopher managed drilling and cementing services for geothermal projects in multiple countries. From 2014 to 2019, they worked at Anvil Corporation, where they served as a Work Group Lead for Rocky Mountain Projects in Mechanical Engineering.

In 2018, Dagel joined ExxonMobil as a Lead Mechanical Engineer. Christopher held various roles within the company, including Technical Support Supervisor and Turnaround Mechanical Engineer. Christopher was responsible for providing technical support, managing projects, and overseeing mechanical operations.

Currently, Dagel is working at Par Pacific Holdings, Inc. as a Lead Mechanical Engineer. Christopher started in 2023 and continues to contribute their expertise in mechanical engineering in this role.

Christopher Dagel obtained a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) from Montana State University-Bozeman, where they studied from 1999 to 2004. Additionally, they participated in an exchange program at Pontificia Universidad Catolica de Valparaiso in Chile from 2000 to 2001, furthering their studies in Mechanical Engineering.
