Joel Sutton

Joel Sutton is an experienced Environmental Engineer with a strong background in waste management, compliance, and environmental regulations. Since September 2016, Joel has worked at Par Pacific Holdings, Inc. as an Environmental Engineer, fulfilling key roles such as Solid Waste Coordinator and overseeing various environmental programs including storage tank inspections and benzene monitoring. Prior to this, Joel served as Lead Environmental Engineer at Phillips 66, where responsibilities included air permitting and managing compliance with federal regulations. Joel's earlier career includes significant roles at the Alabama Department of Environmental Management as an Environmental Engineering Specialist, and as a research assistant at Michigan State University. Joel holds a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering from Michigan State University and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Auburn University.
