Matthew Thomas

Matthew Thomas is a seasoned professional in health and safety, with extensive experience in emergency response and process safety management (PSM). Currently serving as the Health and Safety/Emergency Response Brigade Lead at Par Pacific Holdings, Inc. since October 2021, Matthew previously held key roles at Island Energy Services, LLC, where responsibilities included coordinating PSM audits and incident investigations. At Chevron from April 2007 to November 2016, Matthew acted as a PSM Coordinator and was responsible for facilitating safety audits and managing operational teams within the crude unit. Additional expertise includes special assignments related to maintenance and compliance, demonstrating strong leadership in training and operational guidance throughout various processes in the industry.
