Daniel Gu

Daniel Gu is a Software Engineer at Parachute Health since 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Cooling Systems Engineer at Spartan Racing, SJSU Formula SAE from 2019 to 2020, where they designed and fabricated components for a cooling system for a Formula Race Car. Daniel also worked as an Undergraduate Lab Assistant at San Jose State University, Mechatronics and Control Systems Lab in 2019, where they supervised lab procedures and used MATLAB/Simulink for code optimization and data analysis. In 2018, they served as a Software Support for SJSU EPICS, gaining real-world engineering experience through community service projects. Daniel started their career as a Software Test Engineer Intern at Thunder Software Technology Co, Ltd in 2014, where they collaborated with international interns to enhance user interface systems on prototype smartphones.

Daniel Gu's education history begins in 2011 when they attended Piedmont Hills High School. Daniel completed their high school education there in 2015. After that, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Mechanical Engineering at San Jose State University from 2015 to 2020. In 2020, they joined App Academy to gain further knowledge in Software Engineering. However, it is not mentioned whether they obtained a degree from App Academy.
