Sammy Gallo has a diverse work experience in various industries. In 2003, they worked as an Assistant at UNCG Digital Art Lab. From 2005 to 2006, they served as a Server at Zen Palate, providing detailed descriptions of dishes in the vegetarian restaurant. In 2006, they joined Apple as a Genius, providing technical support and performing upgrades and repairs.
In 2010, Sammy became a Bartender at Beast Restaurant, where they specialized in making delicious bloody mary mix and providing excellent customer service. From 2014 to 2016, they worked as the Customer Experience Systems Lead at Plated, overhauling the company's Zendesk setup and implementing a structured tagging system.
In 2016, Sammy joined Karhoo as the Global Client Service Systems Manager, where they contributed to the development of the ride comparison app and ensured a smooth booking experience for users. They also joined Parachute Health in 2016, initially as the Director of Patient Advocacy and later as the Senior Systems Operations Coordinator. At Parachute Health, Sammy played a key role in reimagining healthcare, automating the ordering process, and expanding the company's reach across multiple states.
Throughout their career, Sammy has also pursued their passion for music. Since 2006, they have been working as a Composer on their personal website, sammygallo.com.
Sammy Gallo attended the University of North Carolina at Greensboro from 2000 to 2004. During this time, Sammy pursued a Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) degree with a focus on Design.
