Danielle Melton, MD has a comprehensive work experience in the medical field. Danielle is currently serving as an Associate Professor at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus and as an Adjunct Associate Professor at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth Houston). Prior to these roles, Dr. Melton served as a Medical Director at Paradigm, starting in 2017. Danielle has also held positions at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, having served as an Associate Professor from 2010 to 2022 and as an Assistant Professor from 2006 to 2010. Overall, they have a strong background in academic medicine and leadership positions.

Danielle Melton, MD, completed their education at various institutions throughout their career. Danielle obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Louisiana State University in 1993. Danielle then pursued their medical education at Baylor College of Medicine, where they earned a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree in 2002. Following this, they completed a Transitional Intern Physician program at Baylor College of Medicine from 2002 to 2003. Danielle further specialized in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation through a Physician Residency program at Baylor College of Medicine from 2003 to 2006.

In addition to their primary medical education, Dr. Melton has pursued additional certifications and courses to enhance their expertise. Danielle completed an Orthotics and Prosthetics Course at Northwestern University in 2012. Danielle also obtained certifications in various areas, including Introduction to Hyperbaric Medicine and Problem Wound Care Management from Diversified Clinical Services in 2012, Certification in the Evaluation of Disability and Impairment Rating from the American Academy of Disability Evaluating Physicians (AADEP) in 2011, and they are board-certified by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
