Beata Jarosiewicz

Beata Jarosiewicz is a highly experienced neuroengineer currently working at Neuralink since November 2020, focusing on decoding algorithms for wireless brain-computer interfaces aimed at aiding individuals with severe movement disabilities. Prior experience includes roles as a Senior Research Scientist at NeuroPace and Stanford University, where efforts were directed towards enhancing neural control for robotic devices and improving outcomes for patients with tetraplegia. Beata's academic background includes an Assistant Professorship at Brown University, advancing brain-computer interface technologies, and a postdoctoral fellowship at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, studying neuronal properties in visual processing. Beata holds a Ph.D. in Neuroscience from the University of Pittsburgh and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
