Doug Schmidt, PMP, ITIL has an extensive work experience in various roles and positions. Doug started their career at Concord EFS as a Programmer/Analyst, where they provided technical and functional support for different areas such as AM, AP, AR, GL, PO, HR, and Payroll. Doug also served as a technical/functional lead for the AR 7.01 implementation and supported the upgrade from version 5.

After working at Concord EFS, Doug joined BTRG as a Senior Engagement Manager and progressed to various leadership roles such as Practice Director for EPM Solutions, Director of Client Continuity & Support, VP of Customer Engagements, and eventually SVP of Customer Engagements. Their responsibilities included managing customer engagements, overseeing client continuity and support, and leading enterprise performance management solutions.

Following their time at BTRG, Doug joined IBM as a Program Manager and Managed Services Lead. Doug successfully managed programs and led the delivery of managed services for clients. Doug then transitioned to IPPS-A, where they served as a Sustainment Lead and was responsible for ensuring the continuous operation and support of the IPPS-A system.

Currently, Doug is working as a Production Support Lead/Project Manager at Paradyme Management Inc., where they are utilizing their project management and ITIL skills to lead production support activities and manage projects related to IT systems.

Overall, Doug Schmidt has a long and diverse work experience in the areas of project management, IT service management, and customer engagement, showcasing their expertise in managing complex projects and leading teams to deliver successful outcomes.

Doug Schmidt, PMP, ITIL, holds a Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, which they obtained from Penn State University between the years 1989 and 1993. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in March 2023 and the IT Information Library Foundations Certification (ITIL) from PeopleCert in February 2023.
