Patrick Morris

Pat Morris serves as executive vice president of legal affairs and general counsel at Paragon Biosciences. He is charged with providing legal expertise and guidance on matters of law related to Paragon and its portfolio companies.

Pat Morris has been providing legal counsel for more than 25 years, with primary expertise in pharmaceuticals and biologics; venture capital; private equity; mergers and acquisitions; divestitures; licensing transactions; and corporate law. Prior to Paragon, Mr. Morris served as general counsel at Marathon Pharmaceuticals where he was executive vice president of legal affairs and mergers & acquisitions. Previously he served as: U.S. general counsel at Lundbeck; vice president of legal affairs and general counsel at Ovation Pharmaceuticals; and a partner at Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP. Mr. Morris is a graduate of the Northwestern University School of Law where he received his J.D. He also earned a bachelor’s degree at DePaul University.
