Sue Black is an accomplished Human Resources professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles. Currently serving as Human Resources Manager at Paragon Foods since March 2022, Sue Black provides comprehensive HR guidance and strategic oversight for associate onboarding, engagement, and retention. Previously, at Vincentian Collaborative System, Sue Black was promoted from Executive Director to Vice President, Partner Resources, where emphasis was placed on fostering a high-performing culture focused on empowerment and productivity. During a tenure at WVU Medicine, Sue Black operated as a Senior Human Resources Generalist, advising management on employee relations and talent development. Earlier roles include Director of Staffing at Wexford Health Sources and Director of Human Resources at UPMC, where Sue Black implemented HR solutions and consulted on performance management. Sue Black holds a Master of Science in Human Resources Management from La Roche University and a Bachelor of Science in English and Communication from Thiel College.

The company operates a newly constructed, 88,000 square foot distribution facility in Warrendale, PA, located 18 miles north of Pittsburgh. In addition to fresh produce, Paragon provides premium quality dairy, fresh meats, seafood and epicurean products to restaurants, hospitals, universities and K-12 schools, clubs and corporate dining clients throughout Western Pennsylvania, Eastern Ohio and Northern West Virginia. JustCut, our GFSI (Global Food Safety Initiative) certified fresh cut produce division, operates a state-of-the-art production facility attached to our distribution center. With the demand for precut fruits and vegetables skyrocketing, we figure the best way to deliver value for our customers is to produce the stuff every day, mostly to-order, so they get only the freshest product with maximum shelf life.
