Mustafa Lotya

Mustafa Lotya serves as the Director of R&D for the Payment Division at Paragon ID since December 2020, where the focus is on bringing innovative patented product solutions to market within the realm of identification solutions. Prior to this role, Mustafa held the position of Chief Technical Officer at AmaTech Group Limited from April 2013 to December 2020, overseeing the design and development of consumer-oriented smartcard and RFID applications, including Metal Dual Interface smartcards and payment-enabled accessories. Mustafa's early career included a postdoctoral research position at Trinity College Dublin from November 2011 to April 2013, following the attainment of a Ph.D. in Nanoscience and a BA in Physics and Chemistry of Advanced Materials from the same institution.
