LaRae Snoddy

Director, Student Operations at Paragon One

LaRae Snoddy has a long and distinguished career in education. LaRae started in 2004 as an Admissions Counselor at Edgewood College, where they were responsible for recruitment events, leading visit programs for family and students, and coordinating pre-college and access initiatives. In 2007, they moved to Lehman College as a GEAR UP Program Coordinator for The Bronx Institute, where they advised over 900 (7th-12th grade) students and connected them to resources and opportunities to increase their likelihood of success in college. In 2015, they joined Hampton University as Program Director/Principal Investigator of the TRiO Educational Talent Search, managing a federal college access initiative with the aim of increasing college access to over 810 participants attending HCS schools. LaRae supervised direct staff of 6, as well as 10 part-time instructors, and 30 undergraduate tutor-mentors. In 2021, they took on the role of Director, Student Operations and Senior Program Manager at Paragon One.

LaRae Snoddy obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Philosophy & Spanish from Lawrence University in 2004, followed by a Master of Arts (MA) in Educational Administration and Supervision from Edgewood College in 2007. In 2011, they completed a Master of Public Administration (MPA) in Policy Analysis & Evaluation from Baruch College. Most recently, in 2023, LaRae Snoddy completed their Doctor of Education (EdD) in Education Policy, Organization & Leadership with a concentration in Diversity & Equity from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Additionally, they obtained Core IRB Training from the CITI Program in September 2022.
