Igor Polynkov

Igor Polynkov is a Senior Consultant at Paragon Risk Engineering since March 2023, specializing in Property Risk Engineering and Construction Risk Management inspections. Previously, Igor worked as a Property and Construction Risk Engineer at JSC “Russian National Reinsurance Company,” supporting international clients and conducting webinars for the insurance market. From November 2012 to July 2022, Igor served as the Head of Risk Engineering at Zurich Insurance Company Ltd, where responsibilities included risk assessments for complex construction projects and property projects under local and international standards. Earlier experience includes roles as a Property & Construction Risk Engineer at Zurich Insurance Company Ltd and AIG, focusing on risk assessments across CIS countries and Eastern Europe. Igor's career began at the Science and Research Institute of Bases and Underground Structures, where design and calculations for high-rise building foundations were key achievements. Igor holds a Master of Engineering degree in Industrial and Civil Engineering from Moscow State University of Civil Engineering.
