Tom Badcock

Tom Badcock started their work experience at the University of Sheffield in 2003 as a PHD Student, where they worked on Quantum Dot laser designs. Tom then moved on to the University of Manchester in 2007 as a Post-Doctoral Research Associate. In 2013, they became a Research Scientist at Toshiba Research Europe Limited. In 2016, they joined Lumentum as a Senior R&D Engineer/Scientist. Finally, in 2019, they began working at Paragraf as a Semiconductor Device & Application Engineer, eventually progressing to the role of Senior Scientist and then Principal Scientist.

Tom Badcock attended the University of Bristol from 1997 to 2001, earning an MSci degree in Physics.
