Bruno Matsui has a diverse work experience in the engineering field. Bruno began their career as an Aerospace Engineering Intern at SpinLaunch, where they were involved in stealth mode projects. Bruno then worked as an Aerospace Engineer and later as a Senior Aerospace Engineer at the same company, contributing to the development of spacecraft components and assemblies. Bruno also gained experience as a Mechanical Engineer at Parallel Systems. At the University of California, Davis, they worked as an Undergraduate Researcher, focusing on flight operations and research in the interaction between quadcopter aerodynamics and measurement effectiveness. Bruno also participated in the SpaceX prototype Hyperloop design competition and the SAE Aero Design and AIAA DBF competitions as an Advisor, Project Manager, and Captain. Additionally, Bruno served as a Lead Makerspace Manager, Senior Technical Manager, and Student Manager at the UC Davis Student Startup Center, providing engineering consultation and shop maintenance. Bruno also had the opportunity to work as a Vehicle Engineering Intern at SpaceX, where they contributed to the design and manufacturing of spacecraft components and assemblies for human-rated spaceflight missions.
Bruno Matsui attended the University of California, Davis from 2014 to 2018. Bruno earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering during this time.
