Ian Elverum has a diverse work experience in the field of technology. Ian started their career in 1998 as a Technical Director at Perficient and worked there until 2010. During this time, they gained expertise in technical architecture. In 2005, they briefly worked as a Performance Monitoring Tool Consultant at Thrivent Financial for Lutherans.

Later, Ian joined Andersen Windows as a Portal Architect in 2006 and worked on the development and management of the Order Management and Dealer Portal. Ian then pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering and Math at the University of Minnesota Duluth from 1987 to 1991.
