Karesse Small

Karesse Small has extensive experience in learning and development within the healthcare sector. Since joining Parallon in August 2010, Karesse has held roles including Learning and Development Education Manager and HIM Education Manager, overseeing education for eight Health Information Management Service Centers across multiple states, while managing onboarding and core training initiatives. Karesse also served as the primary trainer for the ICD-10 Implementation Project, focusing on gap analysis and creating training materials. Prior to Parallon, Karesse worked at Accredo Healthcare as a Training and Process Improvement Manager. Karesse holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Tennessee State University, earned between 1994 and 1997.
