Mark Thompson is a seasoned architectural professional with extensive experience in design and project management across multiple sectors. Currently serving as the Senior Associate Director of Architecture at Paralyzed Veterans of America since May 2016, Mark partners with the Veterans Health Administration to enhance the quality of life for veterans with spinal cord injuries. As the President of EDGE design + development, founded in January 2016, Mark oversees architectural design and project development services in the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast regions. Additionally, as the founding partner of Dark Horse Development and MKSD architects, Mark has played a pivotal role in commercial project development and has built an award-winning architectural firm recognized for its strong market presence. Mark's earlier career includes key leadership roles at R + T Management, Roth Marz Partnership, and Wallace and Watson Associates, demonstrating expertise in architectural design, project management, and business development. Mark holds a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Studies and a Master of Architecture from Oklahoma State University.
