Shawn Golden

​Shawn Golden is General Counsel for Paramount Healthcare. Prior to joining Paramount in 2015, Mr. Golden was a partner in a civil litigation boutique and an associate at one of the largest law firms in the United States. He handled multi-million dollar cases on both sides of the docket, including mass actions, class actions, and arbitrations in the fields of health care, aviation, oil and gas, employment, securities, and probate, among others. Mr. Golden also had an active appellate practice in the Texas intermediate Courts of Appeals and has argued cases before the United States Supreme Court and the Supreme Court of Texas (with victories in both). Mr. Golden is licensed to practice in all Texas state courts and in the Federal courts for the Northern, Southern, Eastern and Western Districts of Texas. He is also licensed to practice in the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit and the United States Supreme Court. He is a member of the Texas State Bar and San Antonio Bar Association.

Mr. Golden graduated cum laude with a Juris Doctor from Baylor University School of Law, where he was champion of the intra-scholastic moot court competition, a member of a number of inter-scholastic moot court and mock trial teams, and an editor of and published author in the Baylor Law Review . Prior to law school, Mr. Golden graduated from Pepperdine University with a Bachelor of Arts in Political science in 1998. Between graduating college and matriculating at law school, he worked as a copywriter for a national, market research firm.

Mr. Golden resides in San Antonio with his wife and three children.
