Hossein P. Anbardan

Hossein P. Anbardan has a diverse work experience starting from 2016. Hossein began their career as a Research & Development Engineer at TÜBİTAK where they heavily programmed in C++ and utilized various libraries and tools to develop a Visual-to-Auditory Sensory Substitution System. During this time, they published two papers on prestigious international conferences and improved the usability of the system through experiment design and performance evaluation.

Following their role at TÜBİTAK, Hossein joined Prof. Martin Medical Shoes as a Technical Product Manager. Here, they explored 3D scanning technologies, selected the appropriate technology, and translated customer needs into requirements. This role involved utilizing Intel® RealSense™ Depth Camera to capture the 3D structure of the foot sole and convert it into a 3D Grasshopper model, which was used to manufacture customized shoes for patients.

In 2020, Hossein joined Visiomex as a Product and R&D Manager, where they played a key role in shaping the product vision by conducting a comprehensive market study in the global Machine Vision industry. Hossein successfully raised over TL 3M capital from governmental grant programs and optimized project planning by providing a framework for gathering and documenting customer requirements.

In 2021, Hossein co-founded Shopishi, a startup that provides a SaaS platform for social selling back-office management. As a Co-Founder, they built and coordinated the product management and marketing team, designed functional features by analyzing customer needs, prepared and managed a roadmap for the technical team, and executed the Go-To-Market Strategy. Hossein also generated new leads through inbound and outbound marketing plans and conducted presentations.

Most recently, in 2022, Hossein joined Paraşüt as a Product Manager, further expanding their experience in product management.

Hossein P. Anbardan has a diverse educational background. Hossein obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Istanbul Technical University from 2018 to 2020. Prior to that, they pursued a Master's degree in Computer Engineering at the same institution from 2016 to 2018. Hossein completed their undergraduate studies at the University of Tabriz, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from 2011 to 2015.

In addition to their formal education, Hossein has also obtained several certifications to enhance their knowledge and skills. Hossein completed the certifications "Client Needs and Software Requirements" and "Software Processes and Agile Practices" at the University of Alberta in May 2021 and February 2021, respectively. Hossein also obtained the certification "Successful Negotiation: Essential Strategies and Skills" from the University of Michigan in February 2021.

Furthermore, Hossein has pursued additional certifications related to their field of study. Hossein participated in a Summer School program on Machine learning and Data Science at Boğaziçi University in July 2017. Hossein also completed the certification program "Initiating and Planning Projects" offered by the University of California, Irvine Division of Continuing Education in June 2017. Additionally, they obtained a certification in "Convolutional Neural Networks for Visual Recognition" from Stanford University in February 2017.
