Neda Eskandari

Neda Eskandari has a diverse range of work experience in various roles and industries. Neda is currently working at Paravision, where they hold the position of Machine Learning Tech Lead/Manager since February 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Machine Learning Scientist at the same company from July 2019 to February 2022.

Before joining Paravision, Neda worked as a Research Scientist in Computer Vision at Novarc Technologies Inc. from October 2016 to July 2019.

Neda also served as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at The University of British Columbia from January 2016 to September 2016. During their time at the university, they worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant from 2011 to 2015.

Earlier in their career, Neda held positions as a Congress Executive Chair at Sharif Advanced Technologies Incubator from July 2009 to December 2009, an Aerospace Design Engineer at Fajr Industries from February 2008 to July 2009, and a Technical Analyst at Farsan Corporation from June 2006 to November 2006.

Neda Eskandari holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering, specializing in Control Systems, from The University of British Columbia. Prior to that, they completed a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Aerospace Engineering, focusing on Flight Dynamics and Control, at Sharif University of Technology. Neda'sundergraduate education was also in Aerospace Engineering, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree from the same institution. Additionally, they obtained a certification in Deep Reinforcement Learning Nanodegree from Udacity in July 2019.
