Chia-Hao Chang

Chia-Hao Chang is a Scientist II in Cell Biology at Paraza Pharma Inc., with extensive experience in drug development and cell biology research. Since March 2021, Chia-Hao has contributed to over eight independent projects involving US-based biotechnology firms, focusing on the development of assays for targeting undruggable transcription factors and investigating the proteasome degradation pathway. Previous roles include Scientist I where Chia-Hao identified and validated over 40 pharmacodynamic markers in bladder cancer and served as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Lady Davis Institute for Medical Research, screening exosomal miRNA targets in breast cancer. With a Ph.D. in Pharmacology from McGill University and a strong educational background including a Master's and Bachelor's in Biomedical Sciences, Chia-Hao has developed expertise in a wide range of methodologies, including CRISPR/Cas9 technology and ELISA-based assays, and has a history of supervising research projects and training users in complex microscopy techniques.
