Barry Springer

Barry Springer has a diverse and extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical and clinical research field. Barry began their career at sanofi-aventis as a Project Clinical Database Coordinator in 2000. Barry then moved to MDS Pharma Services where they worked as a Senior Clinical Data Manager from 2001 to 2004. Barry joined Pfizer in 2004 and held multiple roles, including Clinical Data Project Manager and Database Design Project Manager, until 2010. Barry also worked at Merck as a Study Designer at Accenture for a brief period in 2010. From 2010 to 2012, they worked at Shire Pharmaceuticals as a Clinical Data Manager and then moved to Morphotek, Inc. as a Sr. Clinical Data Manager from 2012 to 2013. Barry spent a significant amount of time at PAREXEL, where they held the position of Senior Data Management Lead from 2013 to 2019. Barry then transitioned to Pfizer as a Manager, Clinical Data Scientist for a few months in 2019. In the same year, they joined ICON plc as a Data Management Project Manager until 2020. Currently, Barry is serving as an Associate Director at Parexel, with previous roles such as Principal Data Management Lead and Associate Director, Data Management. Barry'smost recent role is as an Associate Director, Global Biometrics Account Lead, which they have held since October 2022.

Barry Springer earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration from Alvernia University from 2004 to 2006. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Health Science from West Chester University of Pennsylvania from 1999 to 2003. In addition, Barry Springer completed an Associate in Applied Science (AAS) degree in Registered Nursing from Reading Area Community College from 1996 to 1998.
