Stephanie Rico, CPA has a diverse range of work experience in finance and accounting. Stephanie most recently served as the Assistant Director of Finance for the Parish of Caddo since October 2019. Prior to that, they worked at Horseshoe Casino as the Assistant Financial Controller from March 2016 to October 2019. Stephanie also has experience in the healthcare industry, having served as the Business Office Manager for Harmony Life Hospice from November 2013 to March 2016. Stephanie began their career as an Administrative Assistant Intern at Hill Cross Hospice in September 2013. Stephanie also has experience in auditing, having worked as an Auditor for the Air Force Audit Agency from February 2011 to September 2013. Additionally, they worked as a Staff Auditor for Perdomo Ferrer & Company PSC in October 2010. Stephanie's early experience includes a role as a Finance Accounting Intern at Procter & Gamble from July 2008 to May 2009, where they gained experience in data collection, budget forecasting, and expense analysis.
Stephanie Rico, CPA, holds a Master's Degree in Business Administration, which they obtained from LSU Shreveport in the years 2013-2014. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and Finance at the University of Puerto Rico, Río Piedras, from 2006-2010. Stephanie Rico has also obtained the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification from the State Board of Certified Public Accountants of Louisiana in July 2013. Stephanie also holds a CPA certification from the Governance Board - Colegio de Contadores Publicos Autorizados de Puerto Rico, which they obtained in February 2011.
