Konstantin Tiurev is a Quantum Error Correction Engineer at ParityQC since September 2024, previously serving as a Quantum Error Correction Researcher at HQS Quantum Simulations from July 2021 to August 2024, where Konstantin led a research project focusing on the development of novel error-correcting codes for real-world quantum devices. Prior experience includes a position as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Niels Bohr Institute, University of Copenhagen (April 2019 - May 2021), concentrating on photonic hardware design for measurement-based quantum computing, and another as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Boston University (March 2018 - March 2019). Konstantin also conducted PhD research at Aalto University (September 2013 - February 2018) investigating quantum gases and topological defects using high-performance simulations. Educational credentials consist of a Doctor of Technology in Quantum Physics from Aalto University (2013 - 2017), a Master's degree in Physics from St. Petersburg State Academic University of the Russian Academy of Sciences (2011 - 2013), and a Bachelor's degree in Physics from Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University (2007 - 2011).
