Andrew Porter

Andrew Porter has a diverse work experience in various technology-related roles. Andrew started their career as a National Science Foundation REU Program participant, where they focused on node synchronization in wireless sensor networks. Andrew also worked as a Computer Science Lab Assistant and Tutor at DePauw University. After that, they interned at Medtronic, where they worked on Microsoft SharePoint design and development. Andrew then served as a Technology Intern at Walser Automotive Group, where they developed reports and automation on Microsoft platforms.

Andrew's professional experience also includes working at JPMorgan Chase & Co., where they served as a Software Developer in global technology operations. Andrew'sresponsibilities included working on a financial reporting suite and data warehouse using technologies like UNIX, Oracle Essbase, SAP BW, and BMC Control-M enterprise scheduler.

Currently, Andrew is employed at Pariveda, where they have held multiple roles. Andrew started as a Consultant and then progressed to Associate, Technical Manager, Senior Manager, and finally Principal in the Alliances & Ecosystems division. In these roles, they have worked on various client projects, including modernizing and migrating vendor managed inventory, full-stack development, and SSIS/Tableau development, among others.

Andrew Porter attended DePauw University from 2006 to 2010, where they earned a B.M.A. degree with a focus on Computer Science and Music. Prior to that, they completed their high school education at Edina High School between 2003 and 2006. Andrew also has a certification in Amazon Web Services Cloud Practitioner, which they obtained from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in November 2022.
